    <p class=”mol-para-with-font”><span class=”mol-style-bold”>A stunning image of a lone iceberg drifting in the Antarctic Ocean which brought its photographer to tears has won a prestigious photography prize.</span></p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”><span class=”mol-style-bold”>Fresh Ice, Liquid Salt by James Muir scooped the Sony Alpha Awards which showcases the best Australian and New Zealand photography.</span></p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”><span class=”mol-style-bold”>Muir saw off more than 4,000 images taken by professionals and amateurs to claim the title which is now in its fourth year.</span></p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”><span class=”mol-style-bold”>He said: 'This was the first iceberg I had ever seen and I was stunned for a moment by the majesty of this natural phenomenon. After taking a few photos, I put my camera done and tears filled my eyes.'</span></p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”><span class=”mol-style-bold”>Muir, from the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand, is a producer and cinematographer and he wins Sony camera equipment to the value of 10,000 Australian dollars (£5,500). </span></p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”><span class=”mol-style-bold”>All images submitted in the competition have been taken with Sony’s Alpha camera range.</span></p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”><span class=”mol-style-bold”>Other captivating photos awarded category prizes included a close-up of a green turtle on coral, a stunning ice cave, and a floating plastic bag in the ocean.</span></p><div class=”mol-img-group xwArtSplitter” style=”style”> <div class=”mol-img”> <div class=”image-wrap”> Fresh Ice, Liquid Salt, by New Zealand photographer James Muir, has won a prestigious photography prize.
